Hepafit Vet, a liver tonic, is effective in fatty liver syndrome, hepatic dysfunctions, and metabolic disorders in poultry & livestock. Sorbitol increases the secretion of secretin & cholecystokinin (CCK) hormones that stimulate the secretion & excretion of bile & biliary salts. Cholecystokinin (CCK) increases the secretion of two pancreatic enzymes, amylase & lipase. Sorbitol also helps in liver detoxification, acts as hepatoprotector & cellular osmoregulator. Sodium helps to maintain the body’s acid-base & fluid balance. Magnesium helps in urea formation, removes excess ammonia from the body & keep normal function of body during stress. Methionine acts as an intermediate in the biosynthesis of different phospholipids & helps in detoxification in the liver. Choline plays important role in fat metabolism in the liver & prevents abnormal accumulation of fat in the liver. L-Carnitine helps in metabolic energy production, stabilizes cellular membrane & stimulate immune system. Betaine plays an important role in lipid metabolism & having cellular osmoregulatory function. Vitamin PP (Vitamin B3) involves in production & use of metabolic energy and also plays fundamental role in carbohydrate, protein & fat metabolism.
