 Nefguard Vet is indicated in cases of urinary tract infections (such as- nephritis, cystitis etc.) and effective as a preventive in cases of ascites, gout, pharmacological poisoning, gumboro etc.in poultry. 

 Contraindicated in poultry & livestock hypersensitive to any ingredients of Nefguard Vet. 

 Methenamine is a urinary antiseptic. It is rapidly absorbed from the intestines. Methenamine is dissolved in the urine and converted to formaldehyde, which is a highly effective antiseptic. It also acts as a diuretic. Vitamins B1 and B2 play an important role in controlling metabolic diseases caused by various diseases and disorders. Vitamin K prevents bleeding. 

 With medicine- Methenamine reacts with sulfonamides and converted into insoluble sulfonamide-formaldehyde sediments, so methanamine and sulfonamides should not be used together. With food & others- Not Known 

Common - GIT disorders, nausea, vomiting and anorexia. 

Rare- may be painful urination. 

 In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is indicated. Withdrawal Time: Meat, milk & egg- 0 (zero) day. Storage: Store below 30 ºC temperature and dry place, protected from light. Keep all medicines out of reach of children 

 In pregnant animals- No teratogenic effects were observed in the animal during pregnancy. In dairy animal- Methenamine is excreted though milk but no adverse effects have been observed. However, it should be used in pregnant and lactating animals considering the necessity and risks. 

 Cannot be used in animals and poultry with severe impaired liver and kidney functions and suffer from severe dehydration.
