Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic. It irreversibly binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. Neomycin is a broad spectrum bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic. It irreversibly binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. Thus both Lincomycin & Neomycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis.

With food & others: Absorption is reduced in the presence of food.

Common: No side effects are observed when mentioned dosage regimen is followed correctly.

Rare: Ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity, severe diarrhea, inflammation & intestinal malabsorption.

Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours. Do not use in horse, ruminant & rabbit. Chronic use of oral aminoglycosides may result in bacterial or fungal superinfections.
