Vaccines must be kept within strict, manufacturer-specified temperature ranges, which typically require refrigeration between 2°C and 8°C (36°F to 46°F) or freezing below -15°C (5°F) to prevent them from permanently losing potency. Stock must be stored in the center of dedicated medical-grade units and continuously monitored with a calibrated digital data logger.
