Contraindication Notes:
Metoclopramide is contraindicated: In patients with a history of tardive dyskinesia (TD) or a dystonic reaction to metoclopramide. When stimulation of gastrointestinal motility might be dangerous (e.g., in the presence of gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction, or perforation).
